SPCA

Dear Elan

On behalf of the Placer SPCA. I would like to thank you for your donation of a one night stay at Orchard House and for supporting BARKTOBERFEST, a festival for canines and their well behaved human companions. Thanks to the generosity from businesses and individuals like you, the Placer SPCA raised over $65,00!!!

This unique and exciting event brought thousands of animal lovers together to not only celebrate the human animal bond, but also raise much needed funds to help the homeless companion animals thought Placer County. Proceeds from BARKTOBERFEST will help the Placer SPCA continue our work in enhancing the lives of companion animals and people throught Placer County. We are your loyal companion animal welfare experts and provide many valuable resources with widespread benefit to the region such as spay/neuter assistance, humane education, Guardian Angel and Special PALS. Theses programs are vital to our community and help the Placer SPCA ensure that the thousands of animals that come to us each year will not only find care and comfort while here at our facility, but also in their new home. Today, our efforts and ability to provide these programs is of even greater importance as we strive to meet the ever increasing demand for services and assistance.

Thank you again for participating in this wonderful event which helps enhance the lives of companion animals in Placer County

Sincerely,

FIELDHAVEN FELINE RESCUE

Dear Elan

The third time's a charm. That old saying perfectly describes the 3rd Annual Classics, Cats and Cabernet. The generosity of this community, the energy of our amazing volunteers and the faith and support of the vendors all cane together in one amazing day.

This year's event raised almost $36,000, which puts us ever closer to paying that final bill on the incredible new shelter.

And we certainly could not have done it without you! By donating a 2-night stay in Weimar valued at $250, you did more then make a donation to a charitable event. You helped move a struggling community forward.

Every day we hear of yet another community service that is being cut or eliminated due to budget woes. Some of these are critical and some are not. But through you donation you have helped FieldHaven continue to provide services that benefit people with the one thing that is so often overlooked but yet so vital to health and happiness - their pets.

So please accept our sincerest thanks and appreciation for all you did to help make this year's CC&C a huge success. You truly are the heart and soul of this community and we are honored to have you as part of the FieldHaven family.

Sincerely,
Field Haven Board of Directors

SENIORS FIRST

Dear Elan,

On behalf of Seniors First and the 2011 "Fall Wine and Brew Fest", I would like to thank you for your donation of two gift certificates to our silent auction. This event is the largest fund raiser of the year and the proceeds are dedicated to keeping senior citizens independent and to help them remain in their homes.

Last year we provided 82,000 meals to low-income seniors seniors in Placer County though our "Senior Nutrition and Meals on Wheels" programs; 14,222 rides to medical and non-medical appointments through our transportation programs, "Health Express", and "Door to Door rids".We also provided companionship to housbound seniors through "Friendly Visitors"; health and safty repairs for home and mobile home owners by way of our "Handyperson Program"; information and assistance through "Senior Link" and housing placement assistance.

Your support to "Seniors First" allows us to keep these vital programs available to our seniors.

With much appreciation
Candace Roeder
